Principles of Foundation Engineering 6th Edition - Braja M.Das, 480 Pages
Book DescriptionInternational/india edition very different from the US edition. Despite claims of many book sellers the india edition has a lot less CONTENT than the US edition, missing whole sections and information within the sections. I checked against physical copies of the 5th and 6th US edition. I generally like to use international edition- paperback, lighter and natural paper but in this case, difficult to accommodate, especially if using for class.
Great book though, even with the missing content ;) definitely worth keeping and v dense.
About the Author
Dr. Braja M. Das has been the Dean of the School of Engineering and Computer Science from August 1994 to the present at California State University, Sacramento. Prior to 1994, he was the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois. The author of more than 200 technical papers, his primary areas of research are shallow foundations, earth anchors, and geosynthetics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
